I can't introduce a candidate on a job because it is blocked. What can I do?

The platform blocks candidates who are already introduced. 
It shows the following message: "This candidate has already been introduced for the same role".


There are two options:
Option 1: 
Another recruiter has already introduced the candidate. The candidate cannot be introduced again.

Option 2:
You registered this candidate with your own/ other contact details, which matches with the contact details of another candidate introduced on the same job.

Keep in mind:

  • Always introduce candidates with the candidate's permission.
  • Candidates must always be aware of where and for what job they are being considered.
  • HirePort is unbiased in these situations, as this is between the candidate and the recruiter. Eventually the candidate is in charge.
  • We will take appropriate action if we notice candidates being proposed without their consent.

Option 2:
You registered this candidate with your own/ other contact details, which matches with another candidate introduced before on the same job.

Please make sure you fill in the contact details of the candidate. This is important as we will double-check if the candidate is not already introduced for that same vacancy via their phone number and email address and LinkedIn profile. This means one of these contact details cannot match with another candidates introduced for the same job!

For example; you want to introduce a candidate to job A. You enter a false phone number when introducing the candidate; +31(6)12345678. After that you want to introduce another candidate to job A; the email address and LinkedIn profile are different from the first candidate but you enter (again) a false phone number: +31(6)12345678. The system will block the introduction as the two phone numbers match.
